It was the first time anyone in the Czech Republic staged this play and it was the first time that the award-winning American playwright Doug Wrightcame to Brno for the premiere of the play. It wanted something really special. So we made our first version of the Kayu 130 in dark black and provided it with a reproduction of the signature of the Marquis de Sade himself. One pen was given to Doug Wright, one to Martin Glaser (director of the performance and director of the NdB). Three then went on public sale as a limited edition.
